TURN PER TURN THE UNITS IMPORTANT BUILDINGS PLAYING THE GAME
TURN PER TURN
"Se enemy is weaken is a turn-based strategy game. That means: The two players don't command their units at the same time, in real time, but after one another, i.e. in turns. Each turn is divided into four phases:
1. Player 1 Gogogo
The Gogogo phase serves to get units out of the base into the battlefield. At the bottom of the screen you can see how many units can be on the battlefield at the same time (10), how many of what unit is currently on the battlefield and how many CAN be on the battlefield. The "unitpoints remaining" defines the number of units you can put on the battlefield in this turn. It decreases with every unit you get out. Every turn 3 points will be added to your unitpoints. When you don't want to get more units onto the battlefield, just click on the "END GOGOGO" button.
2. PLayer 1 Kaichi
The Kaichi (jap.: "fight") - phase is the actual battle phase. Here you can move your units, shoot enemy units and use the units special abilities. Remember that for shooting the enemy unit has to be inside the red ellipse of the attacking unit. When you moved all your units and killed what you could, you press the "END TURN" button.
3. Player 2 Gogogo
Now it's the turn of player two. He will exit his units.
4. Player 2 Kaichi
And will attack your units...
THE UNITS
There are 9 different units. Each of them has a different damage-value, shooting-range, move-range and special abilitiy. Your units gain experience during the game which has effect on the special ability and on the damage.
1. RepairSpider
| This unit can repair units, turrets and teleporters. It can construct turrets and tankbarriers. Its damage is very small, its moving range is wide. Don't underestimate the importance of this unit: it also can disarm dynamites... |
2. BloodRunner
| The BloodRunner is a smaller unit with a moderate damage and a moderate moving range. Its special ability is one of the most important: it can place a shield on a unit, the shield points of which depend on the gained experience. The shield lasts for one turn. |
3. TeleportRobot
 | Extremely defensless, but with a wide shooting range, though. Its special ability consists in building a mobile base, where you can exit units in the Gogogo-phase. This is very useful when the way to the boiling point is long. The teleporter can be destroyed. |
4. SeriousBomber
| This is the tank unit, the one responsible for victory or defeat. Why? Because thisis the unit, which can destroy enemy buildings by placing a dynamite near one. Once placed, the dynamite can be disarmed by a RepairSpider of the contrahent. If not, it explodes and you win!
|
5. MinePlotter
| This jeep can place mines, which can't be seen by the enemy. As soon as an enemy unit stops on the mine, it gets activated. When this unit moves away, it will explode. Nasty! |
6. SnipeSinner
| Big damage, big shootingrange. No more to say. Ah, yes: This unit is able to deactivate mine. When one of your units stopped on an enemy mine, you can save it with the SnipeSinner... |
7. KamiKazze
| This one has a wiiiide range - but very few lifepoints. Every flying unit can detect enemy mines that are invisible. The Kamikazze can make mines stay visible for all units. |
8. HoverBomber
| Very powerful unit: Big movingrange and good damagevalue. Its special ability is one of the nasty ones: It can give friendly units new amoonition so it can fire a second time in one turn... |
9. RocketRookie
| the rocket Rookie is one of the very slow, but very powerful units. Its special ability is his shooting: It fires a rocket which can damage several enemy (and friendly!) units at a time. |
IMPORTANT BUILDINGS
1. The Base
 | The base is you starting point in every game. From here you can deploy units during the Gogogo-phase. It is undestroyable. |
2. Crates
| Crates can be transformed into buildings by the Repair Spider. The blue crate will be a turret, depending which team has build it. The turret can be destroyed. | | The red crate can be built into a tankbarrier. As above, the tankbarrier can be destroyed and again built.
|
3. The Teleporter
 | As already mentioned, the teleporter is a kind of miobile base, that can be constructed by the TeleportRobot. Just use it like the base in the Gogogo-phase. |
4. The Targets
 | If you destroy your target you win. In all games, the target is an enemy building. In the menu when selecting the mao to play, you can read what your mission is. Ingame you can see at the bottom of the screen a small sentence printed in red: "Destroy the repository" or something like that. Take your tank and dynamite the building. |
PLAYING THE GAME
Everything should be pretty self-explanatory: In the main menu you have four options:
1. Play new game
Creates a new game that can be played on one computer by two people.
2. Play email game
Creates a new game, which can be played per email. This works as follows: When you create a new game, you are prompted for a name. Insert anything you want, which is not longer than 8 charackters. Then select one of the four maps. After you finished your turn, the game is automatically being saved into a file called [yourname]_turn1a.weak , where the number is the number of the turn and a (or b) represents the team 1 or 2. This file then has to be sent per email to your opponent. He will do what is described in the next point:
3. Load email game
When pressing this button, you will be prompted to search a *.weak file. Whereever you put it, you will have to select it. Done so, the game will automatically be loaded. Here now comes a great difference to the game played on one computer: An additional phase, the so-called "history" is being inserted before the Gogogo-Phase. In this phase you will be shown which unit of your opponent shot which unit of yours. When you contemplated the desaster enough, you simply click on "start turn".
4. Exit
Well, yeah exit, thats all. |
