Promotional game from BMW featuring the M3 and the Nürburgring. Commercial quality driving simulation.
STORY
No story at all. Why should there be?
GAMEPLAY
BMW M3 Challenge is a simulation, so this will not be the fun arcade racing game a casual gamer maybe searching. This is a full grown driving simulation for the BMW M3. There are two tracks, both on the NürburgRing. Racing fans amongst you will know the track and it's celebrity.
The game comes with support for keyboard, joypad and steering wheel. This game is a commercial quality racing game, except that there is just one car to drive (guess which one!) and there are only two tracks. Nevertheless you can play single player (TimeTrial, Training,RacingWeekand) or Multiplayer (LAN and Internet).
COMMENT
Of course, BMW M3 is a promotional freeware title. So no wonder you will race between banners of BMW Slogans, Intel Logos and other sponsors like the TÜV (the german technical inspection agency).
Nevertheless, for the simulation fans out there, this title is worth the download. It features nice graphics, night and day transitions, individual set up of the car's behaviour, a nice track (Nürburgring is legend...) and extensive hardware support.
