SYNOPSIS
Great retrostyle arcade action in a new costume. Great graphics, nice modeling and a fluid gameplay. Onlinescoring system. For all arcade-maniacs out there.
STORY
No story. But I guess there are some Aliens, they came out of nowhere and you have to defeat them. What? Ah, nono, no trying to communicate with them to work on a peace-treaty or other idealistic things like that. Just kill 'em. Kill 'em dead!
GAMEPLAY
The conrtols are not very complicated: Arrowkeys for moving, 'D' for shooting, SPACE for a nuke and the 'A' for flipping your ship to be able to shoot into the other direction. Sounds easy, huh? From time to time you will be given the opportunity to collect special upgardes for your ship, like homing missiles or laser beam. Also keep an eye on your fuel, you loose if you consume all of it. Luckily there are red glowing spots in the level where you can fill your tank up.
Don't be tricked - this game is far from being easy. There are various different enemies, which, one by one, are quite easy to master, but if they come all at once, sweat will be running down your face.
The main goal is to destroy all aliens. However, the most harmless of all, the little yellow aliens, will constantly 'steal ' little balls from the edge of the game, which is a kind of fence you will have to protect. Don't let them steal these balls.
COMMENT

Well I don't know about all the Shoot 'em up fans, but speaking for myself I surely enjoyed this retro-style gameplay with fantastic graphics and high quality sound. Also, the Tron-Like atmosphere is a great plus for the game. Abstract like the models are, they still are very well designed, so that you instinctivly know which one is friend or foe. There is an online score system on their website. Will you take the challenge?
