SYNOPSIS

First Person Shooter. Need I say more? Perhaps "excellent graphics and a new nice idea concerning the gameplay".

STORY

No story. It's a multiplayer deathmatch first person shooter. No time for story...

GAMEPLAY

Well, I suppose you know how the average first person shooter works. Yeah right. Run through strange looking buildings without exits, collect weapons and ammo by running over it, and shoot everything that moves. the good news is, that you respawn when you get killed. Yes, that's right: THIS HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH REALITY. Don't know how some people can confuse that.
Anyway, Warsow is an excellent programmed (yet still being in development) futuristic designed first person shooter. Professional models of both players and weapons, and extremely well done levels give the game a commercial quality.

COMMENT

Warsow will stand out of the mass of FPS shooters by its look and part of its gameplay. The look is a nice mixture between comic-style and neon lights. It's fresh and nice to look at. A function new to the genre is the possiblity of jumping against a wall, for example, and then jumping again from that wall. This ability results is kind of jump-race-maps, which completely got rid of the killing-thingy and turn out to be a skill-map where the contestants compete against each other in jumping the fastest possible through the map. Nice.
Warsaw is already fully playable and you'll surely find a server with enough people for serious carnage. The feeling is great, there's a new twist in it, so I'm sure Warsow will be thankfully received in the freeware community.
